Multi-day conferences, such as Search Engine Strategies and SMX offer both basics sessions as well as more advanced topics in seminars. One-day seminars are available in some areas, such as those offered by PubCon and Online Marketing Summit. Certificate Programs. A number of universities and learning institutions are offering certificate programs that may cost thousands of dollars and several weeks or months to complete. University of San Francisco has such a program. Full Sail University offers specialized degrees. Rasmussen College offers courses as part of their continuing education. Membership Sites. Finally, membership sites offer training, such as SEOmoz and the Web Analytics Assocation (WAA), which also approves courses at the University of British Columbia and UC Irvine. One of the chief decisions prospective students will need to make is how much time they want to invest in the program.
